Building the right <strong>Twitter network</strong> is not as easy as it first appears.</p>
<div id="attachment_201" class="wp-caption alignright" style="width: 256px">
	<a href="http://www.sell-art.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Twitter-Tips.png"><img class="size-full wp-image-201" title="Twitter-Tips" src="http://www.sell-art.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Twitter-Tips.png" alt="Who should I follow on Twitter?" width="256" height="256" /></a>
	<p class="wp-caption-text">Who should I follow on Twitter?</p>
</div>
<p><strong>Follow</strong> too many people too soon and you will lose track of what&#8217;s going on around you and fail to take note of your new network, <strong>follow </strong>the wrong types and you&#8217;ll end up in the wrong neighbourhood with no way out and follow nobody and you&#8217;ll be talking tweets to your good self for a long time to come. Fun for a few days but after a while it might send you just a little bit crazy!</p>
<p>So, what&#8217;s the alternative?</p>
<p>For me the answer comes in a neat little application called <strong>Who Should I Follow?</strong> which allows you to find followers who have something in common with you and follow them. Simple to understand and very easy to use.</p>
<p>Take a look at the video below.</p>
<p><object style="height: 184px; width: 325px;" classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="100" height="100" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" /><param name="src" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/B0l7QSEDQWo" /><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><embed style="height: 184px; width: 325px;" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="100" height="100" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/B0l7QSEDQWo" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object><br />
So, how can this help you in <strong>marketing and selling your art</strong>?</p>
<p>In a lot of ways in fact. First, it allows you to find the right people to follow from day one, so no wasted time following the wrong people. It also has a few great little in-built tools to modify your search results so that they become more targeted to your needs.</p>
<ul>
<li>Target location</li>
<li>Target other tweeters similar to those already suggested</li>
<li>Target Twitter users who are more popular and have more followers</li>
<li>Target tweeters with smaller lists to develop a more intimate relationship</li>
</ul>
<p>All in all, this is a pretty cool <strong>art marketing tool</strong> in our opinion and one which we&#8217;ll be using to build our Twitter network in the right neighbourhood. Why not follow SellMyArt..</p>
