Marketing Services For Artists

My name is Larry Downing and I live in Nashville, Tennessee. I was an art major in college and put myself thru most of that by selling my paintings. A growing family and their needs pushed my endeavors into the construction field where I have been involved in franchising for many years.

I have sold my interest in my company and began painting again. I began a journey of chats across the land to “find my place”. On the path of discovery, I have an idea to market painting services across the land. I have researched the ideas and confided in many artists of different backgrounds and styles. The theme will be Selling Art. I will not use your name, as I am searching for one myself. It will be a package of canvas printing equipment, frames and private labeled paints and canvases. I use photoshop to covert a photo to a sketch, print onto the canvas and paint the image. I provide prints for familiies that want copies of the originals.
The premise here, is that there are millions of artists that can paint well but cannot sell work or have nortoriety. I fill that gap. I used to draw whole baseball teams and the name and number for $35 bucks in the 60′s. I have painted many paintings that the family wanted duplicates.
My question is this to you, would you have an interest to build a network of people under your umbrella, buying, selling and building relationships? If not, thanks for reading. It can be a very good venture and I am working out the kinks, with private labeling all of the above as to prevent diversion. I would say this will just like edible arrangements franchise. Selling art work for gifts. I am talking with them as we speak, but I wish to stay in the art community. Thanks Larry
